Job Description

J.P. Morgan Commercial Investment Bank is a global leader in investment and wealth management, serving institutions, high-net-worth individuals, and retail investors worldwide.

As a Client Service Associate within the local client operations team, you manage and develop your team while overseeing diverse processes across Equities, Fixed Income, Repo, Mutual Funds, IBOR, Derivatives, and Cash Markets. You ensure client queries and operational requirements are met, build strong relationships with stakeholders, and drive process improvements and new fund launches. Your role combines leadership, client service, and operational oversight in a dynamic environment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop the local client operations team through mentoring and coaching
  • Oversee incoming and outgoing client queries across multiple products, including Equities, Fixed Income, Repo, Mutual Funds, IBOR, OTC & ETD Derivatives, CFDs, Cash Processing, FX, Money Markets, Market Claims, Overdraft Reporting, and Cash Management
  • Partner with operational teams to ensure all client SLAs are met and perform daily oversight checks, acting as escalation for processing hubs
  • Contribute to and attend regular client meetings, produce key client reporting, and deliver MI collation, incident reporting, and Client Operational Reviews
  • Build strong working relationships with JPMorganChase internal teams and liaise daily with brokers, custodians, transfer agents, and vendors
  • Monitor market changes and developments, and develop client relationships to understand fund structure, trading behavior, and strategies
  • Participate in new fund and product launches, and drive projects to enhance and improve existing processes and systems

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities

  • Experience in people management, team development, and partnership with diverse groups
  • Product knowledge of Equities, Fixed Income, Repo, Cash Markets, FX, or Derivatives, and understanding of Fund accounting, IBOR, and NAV generation
  • Strong client service, relationship building, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to deliver against KPIs and client SLAs, challenge and influence processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word

Preferred Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities

  • Experience in market claims investigations and overdraft reporting
  • Familiarity with cash management and reconciliation processes
  • Involvement in new fund and product launches
  • Experience in driving projects to enhance and improve processes and systems
