Client Relationship Manager - Corporate Partnerships || Altera Institute
Role Overview
Altera Institute is looking for a driven and relationship-focused Client Relationship Manager - Corporate Partnership Manager to build, manage, and grow long-term partnerships with corporate organizations for student placements and internships.
This role is central to strengthening Altera's presence in the corporate ecosystem. You will act as the primary point of contact for industry partners, manage end-to-end placement engagements, and ensure a seamless experience for both recruiters and students.
As the face of Altera to the industry, you will play a key role in onboarding new corporate partners, nurturing existing relationships, and creating scalable systems for long-term engagement. This is a 0 1 role, offering the opportunity to build processes, forge meaningful partnerships, and shape how companies engage with Altera talent.
Key Responsibilities
Corporate Partnerships & Client Relationship Management
- Plan, execute, and manage outreach strategies to engage corporates across sectors for placements and internships.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with HR leaders, recruiters, and business stakeholders.
- Identify and onboard new corporate partners to expand placement and internship opportunities for learners.
- Act as a trusted relationship manager for partner organizations, ensuring consistent engagement and satisfaction.
Placement Coordination & Stakeholder Management
- Manage end-to-end placement activities including scheduling, coordination, and execution of interviews, placement drives, and internship programs.
- Serve as the key liaison between corporate partners, students, faculty, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution.
- Work closely with career services and academic teams to ensure students are well-prepared for corporate interactions and expectations.
Brand Representation & Corporate Engagement
- Represent Altera Institute at corporate meetings, job fairs, industry events, and networking forums.
- Clearly communicate Altera's value proposition, programs, and student capabilities to partner organizations.
- Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to design engagement initiatives, highlight student success stories, and strengthen employer branding.
Program Tracking, Reporting & Insights
- Track placement activities, corporate engagement metrics, and partner feedback.
- Analyse data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improving placement outcomes.
- Prepare regular reports on recruiter participation, placement statistics, and hiring trends to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, HR, or a related field.
- 13+ years of experience in client relationship management, corporate partnerships, campus hiring, or similar roles.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build credibility with senior stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and coordinate complex activities.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office.
- Understanding of recruitment trends and industry hiring needs is an added advantage.
Skills & Experience
- Experience managing internal and external stakeholders in a client-facing role.
- Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to develop structured plans and execute multiple initiatives in parallel.
- High ownership mindset with comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Prior experience in education, placements, partnerships, or people-facing roles is a plus.
