We are looking for a Client Relationship Manager who can build strong relationships with authors and clients, understand their publishing requirements, coordinate with internal teams, and ensure an excellent client experience throughout the publishing journey.
Job Description
As a Client Relationship Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for authors and clients. You will be responsible for understanding their requirements, providing timely updates, coordinating with different teams, resolving queries, and ensuring that every client receives a smooth and professional publishing experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for authors and clients.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.
- Understand client requirements and recommend suitable publishing services.
- Explain Blue Ink House's publishing packages, services, processes, timelines, and deliverables clearly.
- Handle client inquiries through phone calls, WhatsApp, email, and other communication channels.
- Follow up with prospective and existing clients regularly.
- Coordinate with editorial, design, production, printing, distribution, and marketing teams to ensure timely completion of client projects.
- Keep clients informed about project progress, milestones, and expected timelines.
- Track client requirements, follow-ups, payments, approvals, and project status.
- Resolve client concerns professionally and escalate issues to the appropriate team when required.
- Ensure client feedback is collected and communicated to the relevant internal teams.
- Maintain accurate client records and follow-up information.
- Identify opportunities to offer additional or relevant publishing services to existing clients.
- Support the business development team in converting qualified leads into clients.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the complete publishing lifecycle.
- Prepare regular reports on leads, conversions, client status, follow-ups, and ongoing projects.

Prefered Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, English, Publishing, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in client relationship management, customer success, sales, publishing, media, education, or a similar industry.
- Experience working with authors, publishing companies, creative agencies, or service-based businesses will be an advantage.
- Candidates with strong communication and relationship-management skills may also be considered from other relevant backgrounds.
