You will play a pivotal role in improving data accuracy and completeness of client financials. You deliver actionable insights, lead month-end close processes, and champion collaboration across global teams. You help us maintain high standards of accuracy and data integrity, while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. The candidate will work on various business integration initiatives that involve streamlining processes, building best practices for data analysis and retrieval, and structuring efficiencies into work product through enterprise releases. The position sits in the Commercial and Investment Banking Client Profitability organization. Role will report up to the Client Profitability India Lead.

Job responsibilities

  • Lead the month-end close process for client profitability, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and fit-for-purpose data.
  • Establish strong partnerships with Controllers, Planning & Analysis, and Technology teams to ensure seamless delivery of client profitability data.
  • Partner with relevant stakeholders to evolve controls and identify efficiencies in the end-to-end process.
  • Develop enhanced analytics to support the completeness and accuracy of client financials.
  • Manage execution and maintain timelines and milestones to align reporting with the target end state, dynamically evolving the BAU operating model for a sustainable and well-controlled environment around the strategic infrastructure.
  • Provide guidance and develop tools to support LOBs in their analysis of client profitability data and their transitions to the strategic architecture.
  • Escalate issues and present complex information in a clear and concise manner to management.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience in running larger scale projects and managing senior stakeholders
  • Ability to summarize large amounts of data, formulate a concise message, and communicate clearly to management
  • Technical skills in Python, SQL, Databricks, and Alteryx
  • Highly proficient in Excel, Tableau, PowerPoint
  • Ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 10+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting or Reporting, MBA or CA preferred
  • Strong team building and organizational skills
