Working in a fast-paced, client-focused environment, the Senior Systems and Process Officer is responsible for the maintenance of system and implementation of business solutions, working directly with business users, software administrators, and collaborating with the real estate accounting team to ensure consistency, quality, and best practices are in place. Serve as a key point of contact for the business application and fund implementation, interacts heavily with business assocates of all levels, and resolves business users requests. The Senior Systems and Process Officer reports to the Systems and Process Senior Manager and works with the Senior Systems and Process Analyst, and the Real Estate Platform Leader. The Senior Systems and Process Officer is a versatile self-starter and a quick learner who has strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, adept at managing multiple tasks and projects.

Responsibility

  • Subject matter expert for Real Estate Fund Administration (FA), Real Estate Technology, and Fund Implementations.
  • Consistent involvement with troubleshooting and resolving business user's requests.
  • Thorough understanding of deal requirements in Real Estate Fund Administration for successful fund implementation, including leading scoping exercises with internal accounting teams for new entity setup.
  • Work with Real Estate accounting team to ensure best practices are utilized across all of Fund Administration.
  • Work with leadership to review, suggest, and implement process improvements to ensure compliance adherence across Real Estate accounting group.
  • Assist with managing the workload of the Analyst.
  • Coordination of system configuration information with Tech team.
  • Coordination of data testing and validation for funds being implemented/migrated
  • Coordination of custom reporting setup

Requirements

  • Information Technology literate, proficient in Yardi, and strong Excel skills
  • Strong understanding of different types of investments
  • Broad market knowledge
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Critical thinking skills, keen attention to detail, and ability to navigate unexpected challenges
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments, and manage ambiguity
  • 2 to 4 years in fintech, financial services, real estate, finance, or accounting
  • Demonstrate the AD Values
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting (or related field) a plus
  • Knowledge of current industry standards (ex: ILPA reporting, return calculation methodology, performance modeling, etc.) a plus
