Role Description The Client Experience & Event Relations Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Kolkata, responsible for managing end-to-end client interactions and ensuring a smooth, high-quality event experience. This role involves serving as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their objectives, gathering requirements, and translating them into clear briefs for internal teams and external partners.

The executive will coordinate event planning and execution, oversee timelines, budgets, and logistical details, and ensure all stakeholders are aligned before, during, and after each event. Day-to-day tasks include preparing proposals and presentations, managing communication with vendors and sponsors, overseeing guest lists and hospitality, and addressing on-ground issues promptly and professionally. The role also includes post-event follow-up, feedback collection, reporting, and contributing ideas to enhance client satisfaction and improve future event strategies.

Qualifications

  • Strong client servicing, relationship management, and stakeholder communication skills, with a customer-focused and solution-oriented approach.
  • Experience in event planning, on-ground event coordination, and logistics management, preferably in corporate events, MICE, or brand activations.
  • Proficiency in written and verbal communication, presentation development, and documentation, including proposals, reports, and email correspondence.
  • Organizational and time-management abilities, including multitasking, prioritization, and attention to detail in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
  • Basic understanding of marketing, branding, and experiential campaigns, with the ability to collaborate with PR, media, and creative teams.
  • Comfort with digital tools such as MS Office/Google Workspace; familiarity with CRM or event management software is an advantage.
  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Prior experience in an events, travel, hospitality, or agency environment is highly beneficial, along with a willingness to work flexible hours during events.
