About the Role

We are seeking a Client Engagement Specialist to join our growing team. This role focuses on managing inbound enquiries, qualifying leads, and supporting the commercial pipeline through effective client engagement and CRM excellence.

This is not a sales closing role, but a key position ensuring high-quality lead conversion and seamless collaboration with the commercial team.

Key Responsibilities

1. Enquiry Management & Lead Conversion

  • Manage and qualify enquiries from events, website, marketing campaigns, and internal platforms
  • Ensure all leads are accurately captured and tracked in Salesforce
  • Respond to enquiries within defined SLA timelines
  • Convert inbound leads into qualified opportunities and route them to the appropriate teams

2. Sales & Business Development Support

  • Qualify inbound leads and support pipeline progression to Client Solutions Managers
  • Conduct initial needs analysis via calls, email, and virtual meetings
  • Collaborate with the commercial team to ensure effective opportunity development

3. CRM & Data Management

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Salesforce
  • Track customer interactions, follow-ups, and pipeline activity
  • Monitor lead conversion rates and sales performance metrics
  • Ensure data quality and adherence to CRM best practices

4. Client Relationship Management

  • Build strong relationships with prospects and clients from first contact
  • Deliver a high standard of client service throughout the engagement process
  • Ensure smooth handover of opportunities to delivery teams
  • Collect client feedback to support continuous improvement

Profile

Education and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred

Experience

  • Experience in B2B sales, client engagement, or professional services (pharma preferred)
  • Experience working with CRM systems such as Salesforce
  • Exposure to multi-country environments or senior stakeholders is a plus

Skills and Competencies

  • Fluency in English
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to manage multiple enquiry channels simultaneously
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively
