Role Purpose:
As a Client Engagement Manager you will lead the execution of Fractional CHRO mandates for multiple clients. You will be the backbone of the engagement; the person founders trust and teams rely on. Your job is to bring order, clarity, and momentum to organizations that are ambitious, evolving, and often operating in high-pressure, high-change environments.
This role is meant for someone who wants to grow into a T-shaped leader, deep HR expertise, wide business understanding, and the maturity to influence decision-makers
Duties and Responsibilities:
❖ Lead Client Relationships
• Work directly with founders and CXOs.
• Understand their business, aspirations, and constraints.
• Hold meaningful conversations, navigate sensitivities, and build trust.
❖ Drive Fractional CHRO Execution (This is real execution – Diagnosis, design, roll-out, reviews, and coaching)
• Organization structure, job grading, role clarity
• Performance Management (PMS, KPIs, KRAs, Balanced Scorecard)
• Talent Acquisition transformation • Employee Experience & Engagement
• Capability building & leadership development • Compensation basics, variable pay models
• Culture building & governance models
• Succession planning and future-proofing talent
❖ Deliver with Discipline
• Create timelines, manage stakeholders, and drive outcomes.
• Collaborate with internal consultants, analysts, and subject matter experts.
• Maintain documentation, dashboards, and ensure quality delivery.
• Move projects smoothly from Diagnosis → Build → Operate → Handover. ❖ Solve Problems with Maturity
• Bring structure to ambiguity.
• Use data, judgment, and experience to craft practical solutions.
• Balance founder expectations with organizational realities.
• Say what needs to be said — with empathy and Candor.
❖ Contribute to Flipcarbon's Growth
• Build playbooks, frameworks, and reusable assets.
• Mentor junior consultants.
• Strengthen internal capability, culture, and delivery standards
Experience Required
7–12 years of experience in HRBP, OD, Talent roles, or HR Consulting. Experience working with founders, family businesses, or fast-growing companies is an advantage.
Education and Qualifications
❖ Must Have
• MBA / PGDM in Human Resources (or equivalent HR specialization)
• Bachelor's degree in Business / Commerce / Psychology / related field
❖ Good to Have
• SHRM / HRCI / CIPD certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR/SPHR, CIPD Level 5/7)
• Certification in PMS / Balanced Scorecard / Talent Management / OD
• Coaching or facilitation certification (optional)
