About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Client Engagement Lead – Social Media Marketing & Content to manage a portfolio of client accounts and serve as the primary point of contact for all social media and content engagements. This role sits at the intersection of client management, content strategy, and creative execution, and is responsible for ensuring the consistent, high-quality delivery of work across multiple accounts.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned marketing professional with strong client-management capabilities, sound content judgment, and a thorough understanding of the digital marketing landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for an assigned portfolio of client accounts, managing day-to-day communication, expectations, and overall satisfaction.
  • Develop and oversee social media strategies and content plans aligned to each client's objectives.
  • Lead the creation of content calendars, captions, copy, and short-form video scripts, ensuring quality and brand consistency.
  • Brief, guide, and review the work of the creative team to ensure all deliverables meet brand and quality standards.
  • Conduct regular client meetings, reviews, and reporting, presenting performance and recommendations with clarity and confidence.
  • Coordinate with the performance marketing function to deliver an integrated experience for accounts running paid campaigns.
  • Manage timelines, priorities, and deliverables across multiple accounts simultaneously.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of marketing trends and best practices to bring proactive ideas to clients.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in account management, social media management, or content marketing, preferably within an agency environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships independently and lead client communication.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong copywriting ability across formats.
  • Sound creative judgment and the ability to brief and evaluate design and content work.
  • A solid working understanding of the broader digital marketing ecosystem, including performance marketing.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines without compromising quality.
  • A genuine, demonstrated interest in marketing and a commitment to staying current with industry developments.

Preferred

  • Experience managing clients across multiple industries.
  • Familiarity with social media management and reporting tools.

Location

This role is currently remote and will transition to a full-time, in-office role based in Gurugram within three months. Candidates must be based in or willing to relocate to the Delhi-NCR region within that timeframe.
