Job Description

Deliver trusted client reference data in Party Central by executing controlled, authorized updates that support firm standards and regulation.
Strengthen operational resilience through exception ownership, MIS/audit readiness, and continuous improvement with automation.


As a Reference Data Analyst within Party Reference Data Operations, you create and maintain client reference data in Party Central applications, ensuring timely and authorized data actions. You validate documentation, analyze data, and liaise with requestors and business partners to deliver accurate updates aligned to established procedures and controls. You support operational resilience through issue resolution, MIS reporting, audit support, SOP/control framework upkeep, and process/automation improvements.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support Party Central operations for client setup, maintenance, and account updates in line with defined timelines.
  • Validate and review documentation thoroughly to ensure completeness, accuracy, and readiness for processing.
  • Confirm requests are received from authorized sources and are clearly understood before actioning any changes.
  • Follow procedural guidelines and maintain control, quality, and operational risk standards across all activities.
  • Resolve open issues and escalations proactively, providing clear status updates and keeping management informed.
  • Identify opportunities to increase efficiency through process improvements, automation enhancements, and stronger reporting.
  • Maintain MIS reporting, support audits through timely evidence retrieval, and develop/update SOPs and control frameworks.

Required qualifications, skills and capabilities

  • University graduate with 3+ years experience in financial services or related industries
  • Fluency in written and spoken English with strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Proficiency in party reference data, client onboarding, and KYC processes, with strong controls and quality focus
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills with strong analytical capability and attention to detail

Preferred qualifications, skills and capabilities

  • Experience acting as a key contact for internal stakeholders and managing day-to-day communications effectively
  • Experience supporting training needs, including tracking completion of mandatory targets
  • Demonstrated ability to adhere to control frameworks and manage operational risk through disciplined execution and escalation
  • Proven change/automation mindset, including driving improvements to processes, reporting, MIS, and SOPs/control frameworks
