MSCI Services is seeking a highly skilled and analytical Client Data Acquisition and Integration Senior Associate to join our Managed Solutions team. This role offers the opportunity to work with innovative financial investment applications, focusing on understanding and integrating client data to build solutions for risk and performance measurement and reporting. You will contribute to delivering client data management solutions and developing best practices for operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Acquisition
- Collaborate with client implementation teams to evaluate the efficacy of client's data given required use-cases.
- Interface with the data onboarding team regarding data mapping and standardization.
- Perform provider, feed, and client workflow configurations.
Modeling
- Collaborate with the implementation team to determine if MSCI modeling capabilities are fit for client's use-cases.
- Collaborate with modeling and development teams on asset modeling development.
- Interface with the client data platform team regarding functionality and features of our technology.
Validation
- Review output, focusing on functional modeling per asset class.
- Conduct reconciliation of raw versus integrated/modeled data.
- Contribute to the team's data quality assurance/diagnostics library.
Services
- Transition integrated data to the ongoing service delivery team.
- Advise the ongoing delivery team on enhancements for existing clients data processing configurations.
- Learn and enhance the team's standard operating procedures/best practices.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Economics, Investment Finance, Engineering, Information Technology; a degree in financial investment data analytics/data science is a plus.
- Experience with SQL, Python, JAVA, Groovy, or Git.
- Experience with JIRA and Agile project development practices is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Multi-lingual, with excellent English speaking/writing skills required for engaging with a global team and clients.
- Strong analytic, quantitative, and problem-solving skills; a solid analytical background is desired.
- Driven by working in an environment that combines investment finance and technology.
- Certifications such as CFA or FRM will be an added advantage.
