Job Summary:
The Client Acquisition Manager will play a hybrid role encompassing business development, client acquisition, and portfolio management. The individual will be responsible for identifying and engaging high-net-worth (HNW) and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) clients, presenting Sanctum Wealth's advisory platform, and supporting the end-to-end delivery of wealth management services. The role requires a balance of sales acumen, investment knowledge, and client servicing skills to achieve growth and ensure excellent client outcomes.

Financial:
  • Identify and acquire qualified HNW clients through personal networks, referrals, market mapping, and strategic outreach channels deployed by the firm.
  • Work closely with Relationship Managers and the Market Head to transition qualified leads into long-term managed client relationships.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and report all business development activities and outcomes in a timely manner.
Client:
  • Maintain a healthy and active prospect and client pipeline through consistent engagement and outreach activities.
  • Communicate Sanctum Wealth's value proposition clearly, including investment advisory, portfolio management, and wealth planning services.
  • Support the Market Head in designing investment portfolio strategies aligned with client objectives, leveraging the firm's product proposition and insights.
  • Support the Market Head in monitoring client portfolios, review performance, and recommend strategic adjustments to achieve optimal client outcomes.
  • Transfer insights obtained from clients and the market to relevant internal stakeholders to enhance client experience and operational efficiency.
  • Minimize client complaints and ensure timely resolution within defined turnaround times.

Risk and Governance:
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies to achieve the desired assurance, audit, and regulatory ratings.
  • Contribute to systemizing and strengthening platforms to achieve scalability and sustainability in compliance operations.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
  • Manage financial, regulatory, and reputational risks for the firm and its clients in a prudent manner.


    People:
  • Foster a collaborative team environment across departments and levels of the organization.
  • Manage stakeholders effectively to ensure the successful implementation of compliance strategies.
  • Engage in continuous professional development initiatives and secure mandatory certifications and licenses as required by the role.


Key Role Requirements

Education
  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field

Certifications (if any)
  • NISM-Series V-A and/or 21/A (Mutual Fund Distributors), and/or CFA (Level1+) and/or CFP, and/or any other relevant certification is preferred.

Experience
  • 5-8 years in business development, client acquisition, or sales within wealth management, private banking, or financial services

Technical Skills
  • Strong understanding of financial products such as mutual funds, PMS, AIFs, bonds, and insurance solutions
  • Basic knowledge of financial planning concepts like estate planning, tax optimization, and retirement planning
  • General awareness of capital markets and macroeconomic indicators relevant to client conversations
  • Familiarity with SEBI regulations, KYC/AML norms, and other compliance frameworks in wealth management
