Job Title: Sales Development Representative (SDR) New Client Acquisition

Role Overview:
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) in the Acquisition team, you will be responsible for engaging inbound leads (MQLs) and converting them into qualified consultations with financial advisors.
This role combines structured prospecting, high-level consultative discovery, objection handling, and disciplined follow-ups. It is designed as an entry point into advisory and relationship management roles over time.
You will own the initial client interaction, qualify prospects, and ensure seamless handoff to financial experts with proper context.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead Engagement & Qualification
Connect with inbound leads via calls and respond promptly to callback requests
Understand client goals, investment intent, and financial context
Conduct high-level discovery to assess readiness and suitability
Handle objections (timing, trust, fees, existing advisor) using a consultative approach
2. Follow-ups & CRM Management
Maintain strong follow-up discipline through scheduled callbacks and reminders
Update CRM with accurate notes, lead status, and next steps
Identify and tag invalid, duplicate, or low-quality leads
3. Meeting Booking & Handoffs
Schedule consultations with appropriate financial advisors based on client fit
Prepare clear handoff notes including:
Client goals and urgency
Financial context
Key concerns and objections
Coordinate confirmations and reschedules to improve meeting attendance
4. Compliance & Customer Experience
Follow regulatory and internal compliance guidelines (DND/consent protocols)
Use approved communication templates
Maintain a professional and trustworthy client experience
Success Metrics (KPIs)
Lead response time and follow-up consistency
Number of qualified meetings booked
Meeting show-up rate
Quality and completeness of handoff notes
CRM accuracy and data hygiene
Skills Required:
Strong phone-based sales and consultative discovery skills
Ability to explain investment concepts in a simple, client-friendly manner
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong objection handling with empathy and trust-building
High ownership and follow-up discipline
Proficiency in CRM tools and sales workflows
Qualifications (Must-Have):
2-4 years of experience in financial services sales or client engagement
Experience in at least one of the following:
Experience handling investment-related conversations (goal-based investing, risk profiling, etc.)
Proven ability to convert leads into booked consultations
Bachelor's degree (Commerce, BBA, Engineering preferred)
