About Parking Base

Parking Base is a cloud-native parking management SaaS company serving municipalities, universities, healthcare systems, and commercial operators. Our platform, spanning Permit Manager, Destination Manager, and Access Manager - generates rich operational and financial data that clients rely on to run their programs effectively.

 

We are looking for a Client Accounting & Reporting Manager to serve as the primary point of contact for client-facing accounting and reporting modules across the Parking Base platform. This role focuses on onboarding clients onto Parking Base's ERP platform which includes A/R billing configuration, chart of accounts setup, general Ledger (GL) mapping configurations, reconciliation, and training. Once onboarded, this role would manage client reporting inquiries and discrepancies.

 

The ideal candidate brings a consultative mindset, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to understand and communicate accounting concepts internally and externally to clients.

Key Responsibilities

•  Work with clients to implement and configure accounting workflows and reporting within Parking Base ERP system.

•  Provide client training on accounting workflows, chart of accounts, and GL mapping processes.

•  Serve as the primary client liaison for all reporting-related inquiries, delivering clear, timely, and accurate responses

•  Validate reporting outputs from the Parking Base platform against client records, flagging and resolving discrepancies

•  Investigate and resolve reporting variances through root cause analysis, coordinating with internal product and engineering teams as needed

•  Apply understanding of accounting principles to accurately interpret and communicate financial data within client reports

•  Support GL mapping validation, ensuring that revenue categories and transaction types are correctly mapped to client chart of accounts

Qualifications Required

• 5+ years of experience in client-facing accounting and reporting roles.

• Core knowledge of accounting concepts (e.g., A/R process, ASC 606 revenue recognition, GL structure and mapping, journal entries, reconciliation), sufficient to interpret financial reports and communicate with finance stakeholders, without performing direct accounting

• Experience working in ERP systems (e.g. Netsuite, SAP, Sage) on a day-to-day basis managing AR processes, reconciliations, GL mapping and P&L reporting.

• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy in data validation and discrepancy resolution

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting data-driven findings to US based clients at all organizational levels

• Advanced proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting

• Ability to manage multiple client accounts and competing priorities in a fast-paced SaaS environment

 Ability to work in U.S. Eastern Time Zone

• Experience working in account management, client success, or professional services functions.
