About the Role

We are looking for a Client Account Manager – SEO with a strong SEO background and proven experience managing agency clients. The ideal candidate should have hands-on SEO knowledge, be comfortable discussing strategy and performance with clients, and possess strong relationship management skills. You will act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring client satisfaction, retention, and long-term growth while identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional digital marketing services.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and nurture relationships with assigned agency clients.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client communication and account management.
  • Understand client goals and align SEO strategies to business objectives.
  • Lead client meetings, performance reviews, and strategic discussions.
  • Collaborate closely with SEO delivery teams to ensure timely and successful execution.
  • Monitor account performance, client satisfaction, and overall account health.
  • Handle client concerns, escalations, and retention efforts proactively.
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities across SEO, PPC, Content, Web Development, Shopify, WordPress, and other digital marketing services.
  • Drive account growth through strategic recommendations and consultative client management.
  • Work cross-functionally with Delivery, Project Management, Sales, and Leadership teams.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in SEO, Client Servicing, Account Management, or Digital Marketing Agency Operations.
  • Strong hands-on understanding of SEO, including On-Page, Off-Page, Technical SEO, Content SEO, and SEO Reporting.
  • Experience working directly with international clients, preferably agencies.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing services and agency delivery processes.
  • Proven experience in client retention, account growth, upselling, and cross-selling.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management, problem-solving, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple client accounts and priorities effectively.

Preferred Skills

  • Currently working in a digital marketing agency.
  • Started their career in SEO and moved into a client-facing or account management role.
  • Confident in discussing SEO performance, strategy, and business impact with clients.
  • Demonstrated success in growing accounts and building long-term client partnerships.
  • Self-driven, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership of client success.
