Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Civil Trainer Revit role based in Coimbatore. The Civil Trainer will conduct classroom and lab-based training sessions on Revit and related civil engineering software tools for students and entry-level professionals. Responsibilities include preparing and updating training materials, project-based exercises, and assessments aligned with current industry standards. The trainer will guide learners through practical, hands-on projects, clarify technical concepts, and provide constructive feedback on performance. The role also involves mentoring learners on industry expectations, collaborating with other trainers to improve course content, and maintaining accurate records of attendance, progress, and evaluation.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit for civil and structural applications, including modeling, documentation, and coordination workflows.
• Solid foundation in civil engineering concepts such as building design, structural systems, detailing, and construction documentation.
• Experience delivering technical training, workshops, or academic instruction, with the ability to explain complex topics in a clear and structured way.
• Ability to design course content, practical exercises, and assessments that reflect current industry practices and standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong presentation and classroom management abilities.
• Comfort with using digital tools for training delivery, learner tracking, and content updates.
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related discipline; relevant certifications in Revit or BIM are an advantage.
• Industry experience in civil design, drafting, or BIM implementation is preferred, especially in training-focused or client-facing roles.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and to support learners from diverse educational and social backgrounds.
• Willingness to stay updated on new Revit features, BIM trends, and civil engineering best practices and integrate them into training.
