Position: Civil Supervisor

Job Summary:
The Civil Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day construction activities at the project site, ensuring that all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and according to approved plans and quality standards. The role involves coordinating with contractors, workers, and project teams to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety, and resource management. The Civil Supervisor will play a key role in monitoring progress, resolving site-related issues, and ensuring smooth execution of civil works from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily civil construction activities at project sites.
- Monitor execution of RCC, masonry, plastering, flooring, finishing, and other civil works.
- Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, architects, and project stakeholders.
- Monitor labor productivity and ensure optimum utilization of resources.
- Conduct site inspections and identify construction-related issues for timely resolution.
- Maintain daily progress reports and site records.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Verify measurements and quantities of work executed.
- Assist in planning, scheduling, and tracking project progress.
- Monitor material usage and coordinate procurement requirements.
- Support project engineers and management in achieving project milestones.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned work within budget and quality parameters.
Qualification
- Diploma in Civil Engineering with 5–7 years of relevant experience in construction/project supervision.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and site execution.
- Ability to read and interpret civil engineering drawings and BOQs.
- Knowledge of quality control procedures and safety practices.
- Good communication and team management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD will be an added advantage.
- Ability to handle contractors and site workforce effectively.
