Civil Structure Head

Job description:

• Lead and manage all civil, structural and infrastructure engineering activities for the power plant.
• Review and approve designs, drawings, calculations and technical specifications for RCC, structural steel, foundations, buildings and plant structures.
• Supervise civil works for boiler, turbine, coal handling, ash handling, cooling tower, chimney, ESP, FGD, water systems and BOP areas.
• Ensure compliance with applicable IS codes, project specifications, quality standards, safety requirements and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with engineering consultants, EPC contractors, vendors and other discipline heads.
• Monitor construction progress, quality, quantities, technical issues and contractor performance.
• Review site conditions, identify design/construction issues and provide technically sound solutions.
• Support cost estimation, tendering, technical evaluation, variation assessment and contract administration related to civil/structural works.
• Ensure proper inspection, testing, documentation, as-built drawings and handover of civil/structural works.
• Verification of necessary certificates and licenses, permits & clearances required to carry out this work from the respective statutory/ local authorities are to be arranged by the contractor at his cost in time to ensure smooth progress of work

1.          Pirpainti, Bhagalpur, Bihar - Pirpaainti TPP (3 × 800 MW)

2.          Anuppur, Madhya Pradesh - Anuppur TPP (3 × 800 MW)

3.          Korba, Chhattisgarh - Korba Phase III TPP (2 × 800 MW)

4.          Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh - Mirzapur TPP (2 × 800 MW)

5.          Baran, Rajasthan - Kawai Phase II (2 × 800 MW)

6.          Salkocha, Dhubri, Assam - Assam TPP (4 × 800 MW)

7.          Raipur, Chhattisgarh - Raipur Phase III (2 × 800 MW)

8.          Raigarh, Chhattisgarh - Raigarh Phase III (2 × 800 MW)
