Role Overview & Responsibilities
- To carry out Civil design for water and wastewater facilities (i.e. Skids / modules / Equipment foundations, concrete slabs, piles, Trenches, Anchor bolt design etc.,)
- Lead developing all Civil, Building drawings and Architectural drawings.
- Provide Inputs for civil design.
- Review calculations and drawings received from third party civil consultant.
- Review project specifications, manufacturer submittals, local standards and codes
- Design according to local rules, regulations, and guidelines.
- Prepare / review drawings for permits and construction.
- Prepare / review Building layouts, pipe support pedestals, pedestal layouts, trench layouts, etc.
- Design submission to relevant authorities and follow up thoroughly for approval.
- To liaise with consultants, architects, contractors, and suppliers to resolve project issues.
- Guide designers to prepare Civil drawings.
- Coordinate requirements with other disciplines.
- Work with Technical Project Manager, Structural Engineer and other team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Civil / Structural Engineering
- 10 years of experience in water and wastewater facilities, or related industrial field preferred.
- Proficient with Civil design.
- Knowledge of Codes and standards
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient with design software and AutoCAD.
