Job Summary:
Urjavinya Solutions Pvt. Limited is seeking a motivated Civil & Structural Design Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, analysis, and technical documentation of civil infrastructure and structural components for various engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Civil/ Structural Design:
- Design and analyze structural components for steel and concrete systems.
- Perform load calculations (dead, live, wind, and seismic) for foundations, frames, and support structures.
- Prepare and review detailed structural drawings, sections, and specifications.
- Interpret soil reports to understand bearing capacities and site constraints.
- Perform site infrastructure planning and prepare quantity take-offs
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Experience: 2-5 years of experience in civil/structural design
- Software: Proficiency in basic structural analysis tools e.g., STAAD.Pro or similar & knowledge of AutoCAD
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of Indian Building Codes (IS Codes) and general engineering principles.
- Skills: Good problem-solving abilities and clear communication skills for team collaboration.
Preferred Skills:
- Exposure to industrial or renewable energy projects.
- Familiarity with 3D modeling or BIM workflows.
