Key Responsibilities:
- Supervision and Coordination: Directing and coordinating the activities of construction workers, subcontractors, and other on-site staff to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to project timelines.
- Safety Management: Enforcing safety regulations, conducting site inspections, and ensuring the use of personal protective equipment to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Quality Control: Inspecting work quality, ensuring it meets project standards, and identifying and resolving any issues or defects.
- Resource Management: Monitoring material usage, coordinating deliveries, and managing equipment to avoid delays.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining accurate records of daily activities, progress reports, safety reports, and other relevant documentation.
- Communication: Effectively communicating with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to report on progress, address concerns, and ensure project goals are met.
- Problem Solving: Identifying and resolving any issues or conflicts that arise during construction, escalating issues to project managers when necessary.
- Training and Mentoring: Providing guidance and training to junior staff members, ensuring they understand safety procedures and work practices.
- Compliance: Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with relevant regulations, codes, and project specifications.
- Site Maintenance: Maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard-free construction site.
