Civil Project Engineer manages the technical, scheduling, and budgetary aspects of construction projects (roads, buildings, infrastructure) from planning to completion. Key duties include monitoring on-site progress, enforcing quality standards and safety protocols, managing subcontractors, and interpreting engineering designs for implementation.
GuruGuru +5Core Roles and Responsibilities:Project Planning & Scheduling: Creating detailed construction schedules, forecasting timelines, and monitoring progress to ensure deadlines are met.Site Management & Supervision: Overseeing on-site construction activities, supervising workers, and ensuring daily operations align with project plans.Technical Compliance & Quality Control: Ensuring all work complies with blueprints, technical specifications, legal requirements, and building codes.Budget & Cost Control: Developing project budgets, tracking expenses, and controlling costs to avoid overruns.Stakeholder Coordination: Acting as a liaison between clients, engineers, architects, and subcontractors to facilitate smooth communication and decision-making.Documentation & Reporting: Preparing progress reports, maintaining project documentation, and conducting site inspections.Risk Management: Proactively identifying potential site hazards or design issues and implementing corrective actions.
