Job Title: Design Engineer Infrastructure
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Design Engineer Infrastructure to join our team. The role involves preparing conceptual and working drawings, creating 2D and 3D models, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring design accuracy as per industry standards. The candidate should have strong technical knowledge, creativity, and intellectual ability to translate concepts into executable designs.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop conceptual, preliminary, and detailed designs for infrastructure projects (roads, utilities, buildings, drainage, etc.).
Prepare 2D drawings, 3D models, and working drawings using CAD and BIM software.
Translate design requirements into intellectual and technically sound solutions that align with project specifications.
Ensure all drawings comply with relevant codes, standards, and safety norms.
Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and project managers to integrate designs.
Prepare design documentation, BOQs, and technical reports.
Conduct design revisions and modifications as required based on feedback.
Support the execution team by providing clarifications and technical support during construction.
Stay updated with the latest design tools, software, and industry trends.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering / Infrastructure Engineering (Master's preferred).
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, or similar design software.
Knowledge of BIM (Building Information Modelling) and digital design workflows.
Ability to produce detailed working drawings and 3D visualization models.
Good understanding of infrastructure systems, codes, and standards.
Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Strong communication and team collaboration abilities.
Experience :
25 years of relevant experience in infrastructure design (entry-level candidates with strong skills may also be considered).
