Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Civil Engineer for a full-time, mid-level position to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 6 years of experience in civil engineering, with a strong background in site supervision, project management, and design, supporting the hospitals ongoing infrastructure and expansion projects.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (Mandatory skill) with demonstrated experience in creating detailed design and construction drawings for healthcare infrastructure.
- Expertise in project management (Mandatory skill), including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation for construction projects.
- Strong background in site supervision (Mandatory skill), overseeing all on-site activities to ensure work complies with engineering standards and hospital requirements.
- Advanced knowledge in structural analysis to assess and optimize building frameworks and safety parameters for hospital facilities.
- In-depth experience in construction management, coordinating contractors, suppliers, and internal teams for timely completion of projects.
- Skilled in geotechnical engineering, including site investigation, soil analysis, and foundation design to ensure stability and safety of structures.
- Ability to analyze and solve engineering problems, providing effective solutions that adhere to healthcare industry regulations and quality standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, hospital administration, and external stakeholders.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all civil engineering projects within the hospital premises, including new constructions and renovations.
- Prepare detailed engineering designs, plans, and specifications using AutoCAD and related software tools.
- Manage the execution of construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards, quality, and hospital protocols.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, validate quality of work, and resolve any technical issues that arise.
- Collaborate with contractors, vendors, and internal departments to ensure timely delivery and completion of projects.
- Perform structural analysis to ensure safety and durability of hospital infrastructure in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Prepare project reports, budgets, and presentations for senior management and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure all civil engineering activities adhere to local building codes, healthcare-specific guidelines, and sustainability practices.
