Job Title: Civil Engineer
Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to design, develop, and oversee construction projects including roads, bridges, buildings, and other infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure that projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan, design, and manage civil engineering projects from conception to completion.
- Conduct site investigations and feasibility assessments.
- Prepare and present engineering design proposals and reports.
- Analyze survey reports, maps, and other data to plan projects.
- Use computer-aided design (CAD) software for drafting plans.
- Ensure compliance with government regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines.
- Supervise construction activities and provide technical advice to contractors.
- Liaise with clients, architects, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports.
- Resolve design and development problems as they arise.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred or required (depending on location).
- 2+ years of experience in civil engineering or construction management.
- Proficiency in engineering design software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, STAAD, etc.).
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
- Excellent communication, project management, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:- Knowledge of environmental and geotechnical engineering.
- Experience with BIM (Building Information Modeling) systems.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Work Environment:- Split between office settings and on-site visits.
- May require occasional travel depending on project location.
