Job DescriptionJob Summary:
We are seeking a QC Engineer (Civil) with a minimum of 2 years of experience to oversee and ensure quality control at construction sites. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring site activities, materials, and workmanship, ensuring compliance with approved drawings and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct routine quality inspections of ongoing site works
- Ensure execution as per approved drawings and specifications
- Monitor daily site activities and report deviations
- Inspect incoming materials such as M-sand, steel, cement, tiles, etc.
- Maintain records of test reports (cube tests, steel tests, etc.)
- Monitor basic concrete parameters such as slump and sampling
- Ensure correct mix ratios and usage within permissible time limits
- Implement and follow quality checklists and SOPs at site
- Report quality issues and assist in corrective actions
- Maintain proper documentation and quality records
- Support final inspections and project handover
Requirements:- B.Tech / Diploma in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 2 years of experience in construction/site quality
- Basic knowledge of construction quality standards and materials
- Strong observation and reporting skills
Preferred Skills:- Knowledge of concrete and material testing
- Ability to read and interpret drawings
- Good coordination and communication with site teams
