Job Description

. Purpose of Position-

  • To supervise and ensure high‑quality execution of civil and structural works, including RCC, formwork, finishing, waterproofing, and external works, ensuring compliance with project specifications and timelines.
  • The position performs in line with the Bureau Veritas Quality Assurance System, including the BV Code of Ethics and the BV Group policy

. Major Responsibilities -

  • Monitor all civil & structural works as per approved drawings.
  • Inspect reinforcement, shuttering, concrete quality, curing, and structural elements.
  • Coordinate with contractors for sequencing of high‑rise RCC works.
  • Ensure quality and compliance in blockwork, plaster, flooring, façade support systems, etc.
  • Maintain daily site records, inspection reports, and concrete logs.
  • Assist in preparation of snag lists and quality audits.
  • Review bar bending schedules, method statements, and work procedures.
  • Report deviations and ensure rectifications.
  • Support contractor billing verification.

. Criteria for Performance Evaluation (KPIs) -

  • Quality compliance score for civil works.
  • Timely completion of structural & finishing milestones.
  • NCRs raised/closed and workmanship ratings.
  • Accuracy of reports and inspection documentation.
  • Safety adherence in civil work zones.

. Qualification, Experience and Technical knowledge-

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • 8+ years experience in high‑rise or large commercial projects.
  • Strong understanding of RCC, formwork, structural sequencing, finishing standards.
  • Familiarity with IS codes, QA/QC procedures, concrete technology.
