Role Description The Civil Engineer at Nivaas Foundations will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing civil engineering aspects of facility development and infrastructure related to the company's operations in Chennai. Day-to-day tasks include preparing design drawings, coordinating site layouts, ensuring structural safety and compliance with local regulations, and managing stormwater and drainage systems for company premises and production facilities. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to support construction projects, conducting site inspections, and resolving engineering issues to maintain efficient, safe, and sustainable work environments. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai.
Qualifications

• Strong skills in Civil Engineering Design and Civil Engineering, with the ability to develop practical and compliant design solutions.
• Experience working as Civil Engineers on planning and implementation of infrastructure or facility projects.
• Knowledge of Planning and Stormwater Management, including drainage design and environmental considerations.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Familiarity with relevant building codes, standards, and local regulations.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, civil design tools).
• Effective communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in industrial or commercial facilities projects is an advantage.
