The Role
As a Civil Engineer Level II with Worley, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc.
You will provide Structural Engineering services to Worley, and its customers and may provide technical support within the Structural team.
- Design of pipe-rack, stack, equipment supporting structures, reactor/Technological structures supporting process facilities.
- Dynamic analysis of structures, Seismic analysis (SLE/DLE) of structures.
- Finite element analysis / Advanced analysis for the critical onshore structures, UG facilities - planning and Design.
- Equipment Foundation design (Static and Dynamic loading condition).
- Secondary structural design - special pipe supports, equipment access platforms and Cable tray supports.
- Structural integrity assessment of existing structures, remaining strength assessment and retrofitting details.
- Detailed health survey and as building of the existing asset, 3D modelling interfaces and fabrication drawing interfaces.
- Constructability studies.
- Cooling tower, water tank, coal belt conveyor structures, PEB, sheds and supporting foundations detail engineering.
- Modularization of the onshore structures to minimize the site activities. Other Attributes:
- Second order analysis for seismic / wind loads.
- Working independently without supervision. Meeting with customer and delivery head. Coordinating with other disciplines lead whenever required.
- Quality Assurance – Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system relevant to the Project.
- Safety – Responsible for personal safety safe working practices for the Project. Understand and follow OH&S procedures.
- Applicants require experience in working in a structural engineering team within a large multi discipline project team.
About You
To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:
- Onshore Structural Engineer with 7 -12 years of experience in Engineering Design & Detailing of Civil & Structural works of industrial projects (Oil & Gas, Power, Wind Energy and Cement Plants etc).
- Focus on Modularization. Familiarity with international codes and standards are essential. Hands on experience of structural design software's and foundation design software's including dynamic analysis (Staad Pro., RCDC, Foundation & Mat 3D, RAM, SAFE and Ansys/SAP etc.).
- Required Education:
- A recognized A Bachelor of Engineering (Civil/Structural)
