About the Role

We are looking for a Civil Engineer (Freelancer) to support advanced AI evaluation initiatives focused on civil engineering principles, infrastructure design, and real-world problem-solving.

In this role, you will work with AI-generated outputs related to structural design, construction planning, geotechnical analysis, transportation systems, and project management, helping improve how AI models understand and solve engineering challenges.

You will collaborate with global AI and engineering teams to assess the accuracy, feasibility, and technical soundness of AI-generated solutions. Your contributions will directly enhance AI systems used for engineering design, planning, and decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Create deliverables addressing common requests within your professional domain, including design calculations, planning approaches, and engineering solutions
• Annotate and evaluate AI-generated responses related to civil engineering concepts and applications
• Review peer-developed deliverables to enhance AI research quality and consistency
• Diagnose and solve real-world civil engineering problems to improve AI reasoning capabilities
• Assess AI outputs for technical accuracy, feasibility, and compliance with engineering standards
• Identify gaps, incorrect assumptions, or unsafe recommendations in AI-generated solutions and provide structured feedback
• Contribute domain expertise to improve AI models focused on infrastructure and engineering systems

Requirements

• Background in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Strong understanding of core areas such as structural engineering, geotechnical engineering, transportation, or construction management
• Experience with design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, STAAD, ETABS, or similar) is preferred
• Ability to critically evaluate engineering designs, calculations, and methodologies
• Experience in solving real-world engineering or construction-related problems
• Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment
