Position: Civil Engineer Contracts (Business Development)
Location: Indore (Mhow), MP
Domain: Projects (Way side amenities)
Role Objective
To support project teams in managing contractual, commercial, and risk-related aspects of Way side amenities projects, ensuring timely contractual compliance, effective claim management, and protection of the company's commercial interests.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the identification, monitoring, and mitigation of Way side amenities projects, risks and opportunities on an ongoing basis.
- Draft, review, and vet contractual communications, terms & conditions, notices, and project correspondences in line with contract provisions.
- Ensure timely issuance of notices related to: Extension of Time (EOT), Variations and change orders, Delays, disruptions, and other contractual events.
- Support delay and disruption claims, including data collection, analysis, and documentation.
- Coordinate with site, planning, and billing teams to gather inputs for contractual submissions.
- Maintain proper contractual records and documentation for audits, claims, and dispute resolution.
- Assist in the settlement of disputes and coordination with internal stakeholders or consultants, as required.
Educational Qualifications & Desired Skills:
- B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering Mandatory
- Postgraduate qualification in APM / Contracts Management Preferred
- Experience not exceeding 2 years as the role is positioned at a junior to early-career level with corresponding compensation.
- Good understanding of contracts (EPC, Wayside amenities, etc.)
- Strong analytical and documentation skills
- Ability to interpret drawings, BOQs, and contractual clauses
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and report writing
- Good coordination and communication abilities
Compensation
