Civil Engineer

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Civil Engineer role based in Hyderabad. The Civil Engineer will support the planning, design, and execution of civil works for renewable energy projects, including solar plants, energy storage facilities, and related infrastructure. Daily responsibilities include preparing design calculations and drawings, coordinating site layouts, grading, and foundations, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. The role will involve stormwater management design, site drainage planning, and review of geotechnical and structural inputs. The Civil Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams, oversee contractors on-site, participate in site inspections, prepare technical reports, and assist with permitting and regulatory documentation to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design, with the ability to apply core civil principles to renewable energy and infrastructure projects.
• Experience working as part of Civil Engineering teams (including other Civil Engineers) to coordinate design, documentation, and construction activities.
• Demonstrated skills in Planning and project coordination, including scheduling, resource planning, and interfacing with contractors and consultants.
• Knowledge and practical experience in Stormwater Management, including site drainage design, erosion control, and compliance with local regulations.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline; advanced degree or relevant certifications are an advantage.
• Proficiency with civil design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar) and familiarity with relevant codes and standards.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills, with attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to work on-site full-time in Hyderabad, collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary teams, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in renewable energy, solar, or industrial infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
