Civil engineer ( Chandigarh)

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Civil Engineer with 1–3 years of experience to oversee and execute construction projects in Chandigarh. In this role, you will assist in managing site operations, ensuring engineering designs are executed accurately, safely, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day site construction activities and ensure work aligns perfectly with architectural and structural drawings.

• Supervise on-site labor, subcontractors, and junior technical staff to maintain productivity and safety standards.

• Perform regular quality checks on construction materials (concrete, steel, etc.) and workmanship to meet project specifications.

• Monitor project timelines, track material consumption, and prepare daily/weekly progress reports for senior management.

• Coordinate with architects, structural designers, and clients to resolve any technical discrepancies on-site.

• Ensure strict adherence to local building bylaws, safety protocols, and environmental regulations in Chandigarh.

• Education: Bachelor's degree (B.Tech/B.E.) or Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.

• Experience: 1–3 years of hands-on experience in site execution, preferably in residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects.

• Technical Skills: Basic proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and project scheduling tools. Solid understanding of billing, estimation, and material testing.

• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills, and the capability to lead on-site teams efficiently.

• Location: Must be based in or willing to commute daily to project sites in Chandigarh.
