Job Description

  • Civil Work Plan: Execute, prepare, monitor, and analyze civil work plans according to the project schedule.
  • Coordination: Coordinate with other engineering disciplines for smooth project implementation.
  • Quality Control: Identify quality issues, raise quality surveillances, and ensure they are resolved effectively.
  • Contractor Management: Supervise contractors, evaluate and discuss work schedules, monitor progress, and prepare daily/weekly reports.
  • Billing and Payments: Verify running and final bills of contractors and report any concerns to the project head.
  • Project Management: Plan, schedule, and monitor activities to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
  • Standards and Codes: Be well-versed in various Indian Standard (IS) codes and standards for civil works.
  • Documentation: Prepare various job-related documents such as daily reports, material inventory status, BOM (Bill of Materials), and BOQ (Bill of Quantities).
  • On-Site Management: Actively manage projects from the field, addressing and resolving on-site issues during construction.
  • Maintenance: Plan and coordinate all civil maintenance for the plant and infrastructure, including sanitary, drainage, and rainwater systems.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Handle preventive and breakdown maintenance of civil works.
  • Safety: Instruct the use of safety equipment and PPEs (Personal Protective Equipment) and conduct tool box talks to prevent accidents.
