Skills Required (Mandatory):
- Master s or Post-Graduate degree in Civil/Structural engineering
- Minimum 10 years of industry experience
- Strong technical analytical skills
- Experience in evaluation of existing structures
- Experience with fixed and floating offshore structures
- Management of engineering design
- Ability to evaluate different conceptual designs
- Familiarity with structural analysis and design software (SACS, STAAD Pro, etc.)
- Demonstrated teamwork and excellent communication skills are essential
Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide civil/structural engineering expertise to a variety of projects and operating/manufacturing sites worldwide.
- Sustain ExxonMobil culture of safety and support compliance with established safety management systems.
- Provide technical support throughout the development phase of projects from conceptual to final design/execution.
- Provide technical support to Upstream and Downstream operating/manufacturing sites.
- Assure quality control of contractor work throughout project execution.
- Assist facilities with risk management activities.
- Primarily to review engineering design documents produced by other Contractors to ensure constructability, fit for risk design and compliance with ExxonMobil practices.
T he engineering design scope may cover (but not limited to the following): Onshore
- Structural Design and Analysis of concrete and steel structures, including plant buildings
- Structural Inspection, Rehabilitation and Upgrading
- Blast Resistant Design
- Earthquake analysis
- Foundations and pilings for equipment, structures and tanks.
