ABOUT
Agnikul Cosmos is a company incubated at IIT Madras and we build rockets that can take satellites up to 500 kg to Lower Earth Orbit (LEO). In May 2024, we successfully completed our maiden launch from our own launchpad (India's first private launchpad). The launch has proven all the new technologies developed by Agnikul and also earned recognition from Honourable Prime Minister of India.
We are looking for a skilled Civil Engineer with strong expertise in structural analysis and design. The candidate should be proficient in engineering design software and capable of interpreting technical drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Perform structural analysis and design
Review, interpret, and validate engineering drawings and specifications
Ensure designs comply with relevant codes and standards
Coordinate with architects and project teams for design integration
Identify design issues and provide practical engineering solutions
Prepare technical reports, calculations, and documentation
Support project planning and estimation activities
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
Strong understanding of structural behaviour and design principles
Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings
Familiarity with IS codes and standards.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in STAAD.Pro is preferred
