Civil Designer II

Operate under detailed instructions to provide essential technical knowledge and perform assigned civil design work

Promote Fluor's competitiveness by delivering quality services with technical competence

Work on design and perform layout of moderate scope to support the Design Area Lead or Lead

Prepare 2D and 3D Computer Aided Design (CAD) drawings and models of moderate complexity

Review drawings and survey documentation across disciplines for compliance with project requirements; actively resolve discrepancies

Perform bulk material take-off analysis and tabulations

Adhere to industry codes, standards, and departmental practices and procedures

Design and model drainage systems and stormwater management solutions

Participate in the design and modeling of utilities, earthworks, and grading layouts

Conduct clash detection reviews between discipline models

Prepare general arrangement and reinforcement detail drawings for concrete structures

Verify site conditions and dimensions to ensure design accuracy

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including structural, mechanical, piping, and electrical disciplines
