Civil Designer

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Structural Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 2-6 years expertise in structural design, particularly in using Advanced Steel Software for modelling, detailing, and drafting. The role involves collaborating with engineers and project teams to deliver high-quality designs for various structural projects.

You are expected to:

· Develop detailed 3D models and 2D drawings for structural steel projects using Autodesk Advanced Steel software.

· Collaborate with engineers to translate design concepts into workable solutions.

· Create structural drawings, layouts, and fabrication details for steel structures.

· Prepare fabrication drawings, connection details, and material lists with high precision for steel structures.

· Interpret structural analysis outputs and implement necessary changes in the model.

· Maintain project documentation and manage revisions efficiently.

· Generate and manage detailed reports, including BOMs, assembly drawings, and erection plan.

Requirements

You will be a Great fit, if you have:

· Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field.

· Minimum 2-6 years of relevant experience in Structural Design with Proficiency in Advanced Steel Software.

· Experience with simple and combined cycle, retrofits gas-based Power Plants up to 800 MW.

· Experience in North American Projects and Proficient in codes such as ABS, AISC, ACI, ASCE, IBC, ASME, AWS, API.
