Civil Design Engineer

Role Description The Civil Design Engineer will be responsible for preparing and reviewing civil engineering designs, drawings, and calculations for land development, roadway, and stormwater systems. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with internal teams and external consultants, performing site analysis, ensuring designs comply with local regulations and standards, and supporting permitting documentation. The role involves using design and modeling software to develop efficient, safe, and sustainable solutions, as well as participating in project meetings, responding to technical queries, and assisting with cost estimates and reports. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Mumbai, with primary work performed on-site and some work-from-home flexibility as project needs allow.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design, with the ability to interpret and produce technical drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in temporary structure Design, temporary bridges etc covering horizontal and vertical alignment, pavement design, and safety considerations is a must.
• Worked with ring-lock scaffolding structure is a must
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Comfort with relevant design and CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Vectorworks or similar tools) and basic project documentation practices.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple tasks.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving capability, and commitment to sustainable and practical engineering solutions.
