About the Role:
The Civil Engineer will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and coordinating civil design deliverables for the construction project. This includes developing detailed drawings, performing design calculations, and ensuring that designs meet project specifications, codes, and standards. The role involves close collaboration with site teams, consultants, and other engineering disciplines to support smooth execution and resolve design-related issues.
The Civil Engineer will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and coordinating civil design deliverables for the construction project.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review civil design drawings including site layouts, grading, drainage, roads, and utilities.
- Perform design calculations for structural elements, earthworks, and water management systems.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and project requirements.
- Coordinate with architects, structural, and MEP teams for integrated design solutions.
- Support the preparation of BOQs, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Review contractor/shop drawings and provide design clarifications.
- Assist in resolving design-related issues during construction.
- Participate in design review meetings and provide technical inputs.
- Maintain version control and documentation of design deliverables.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in civil design for infrastructure or building projects.
- Familiarity with local and international design codes (e.g., IS, IRC, ACI, BS).
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, STAAD Pro, and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of construction practices and site coordination.
