Civil Design Engineer Lead

#Urgenthiring Lead Civil Design Engineer (Navi Mumbai)

The Lead Civil Design Engineer will lead and manage the #civildesign#team, overseeing all technical aspects of civil and #structuralengineering for assigned building and infrastructure projects. The role requires strong expertise in RCC and steel structure design, hands-on experience with design calculations, drawings, and BOQ/BOM preparation, and close coordination with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

#Lead and review civil and structural designs, including RCC structures, steel structures, roof slabs, foundations, and related civil works.

Perform and validate structural design calculations in compliance with applicable Indian Standards (IS codes) and project specifications.

Develop and review detailed 2D drawings, layout plans, sections, and construction details using AutoCAD.

Prepare, review, and verify Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and Bill of Materials (BOM).

Ensure all designs comply with safety regulations, IS codes, and client requirements.

Coordinate with Architecture, MEP, Project Management, and Construction teams to ensure integrated design delivery.

Participate in design review meetings and address technical queries during project execution.

Conduct site visits for design validation, troubleshooting, and providing technical support during construction.

Maintain accurate documentation, version control, and records for all design deliverables and revisions.

Guide and mentor junior engineers and ensure quality control of design outputs.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.

10 to 15 years of relevant experience in civil and structural design roles.

Strong experience in RCC and steel structure design for industrial, infrastructure, or commercial projects.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in #AutoCAD; working knowledge of #Revit is preferred.Experience with structural analysis/design software such as #STAADPro, ETABS, or similar tools is an advantage.

Strong understanding of Indian Standards (IS codes), construction materials, and design practices.

Ability to perform independent design calculations and technical evaluations.
