Qualification

Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University

Area of Experience

1.Review contract documents, design basis, specifications, geotechnical information and civil scope requirements.

 2.Perform/review civil engineering for equipment foundations, buildings, roads, paving, trenches, culverts, drainage, underground networks and miscellaneous civil works.

 3.Prepare/review design calculations, civil layouts, grading/drainage drawings, foundation drawings and construction details.

 4.Prepare civil MTO/BOQ, specifications, scopes of work, MR and technical requisitions.

 5.Review geotechnical reports and apply appropriate soil parameters, bearing capacity, settlement and groundwater considerations.

 6.Coordinate equipment foundation loads and interfaces with Static, Rotating, Piping, Electrical, Instrumentation and Structural disciplines.

 7.Review vendor foundation/load data and ensure incorporation into civil design.

 8.Review technical bids, raise TQs and support TBE for civil materials/subcontract packages.

 9.Review vendor/subcontractor drawings, method-related technical documents and material submittals.

 10.Ensure underground services, roads, drainage and foundations are coordinated to avoid clashes and constructability issues.

 11.Participate in model/design reviews and resolve site RFIs, design changes and as-built requirements.

 12.Support construction teams with technical clarifications and field engineering. Codes Knowledge : International Standard code (ASC,)

 13.Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, client standards, HSE and project specifications.

 14.Maintain engineering deliverable schedules and provide progress/status reports.
