Job Description

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Primary Responsibilities.

  • Administration of a Citrix XenDesktop environment, including Provisioning Server, XenApp, MCS, WEM, NS, Citrix Cloud.
  • Administration support to VMware infrastructure, hands on experience on management of VMware ESX and ESXi as part of Citrix Administration.
  • Monitor systems performance. Experience on Citrix Director, Monitoring tools like SolarWinds, Orion, Vrops etc.
  • Experience about integration of 3rd party systems or applications required to support the business.
  • Administration of various supporting applications respective to Citrix, including Qualys, Crowd strike, Splunk on VDIs.
  • Follow and support IT business processes including Incident management, change management, Problem management.
  • Good to have knowledge on disaster recovery and business continuity.
  • Very good understanding on compliance with hands on experience on Citrix server maintenance, Patching tools like Tanium, sccm etc.
  • knowledge on disaster recovery and business continuity.
  • Hands on Citrix migration, infra upgrade & deployment of POC per project requirements.
  • Providing L2/L3 level Citrix support.
  • Good understanding of NetScaler, SDX, MPX, VPX etc. hands on experience with L1/L2 support.
  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Technically sound professional with an experience of almost 6-10 years in the Citrix XenApp, XenDesktop, VMware, PVS, MCS, Citrix Cloud, Windows Server.
  • Maintenance and troubleshooting of Citrix XenApp, XenDesktop , Virtual app and Desktop, PVS, MCS, UPM, WEM, NS. SF, Citrix cloud.
  • Knowledge of Citrix farm management, Session management, printer management, Application publishing/ decommissioning in Citrix farm, Log monitoring/maintenance.
  • Requires Good understanding of Windows Active Directory, Terminal Server, DNS, DHCP and Windows 10,11, thin client. Windows server 2012, 2016, 2019, 2022.
  • Requires skills at customer service and dealing with end users, Vendors.
  • Hands of experiences with sccm / Tanium is must.
  • Professional with ability to properly handle confidential information.
  • Ability to work well independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Perform a regular Citrix server monitoring, health checks, maintenance to ensure the environment is stable and available.
  • Create and maintain the standard operating procedure documents as directed.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, Guide Citrix Admins technically in all aspects of end-to-end Citrix support.
  • Coordinate with other support teams including application / Storage /database, network/ monitoring/ Windows to fulfil any Citrix requirements.
  • Knowledge of Multifactor Authentication/2 Factor authentication (MFA/2FA), okta etc..
  • Knowledge of ITIL Process.
  • 24X7 support exposure, Open to work in night shift/ weekends/ Holidays as per business requirements.
  • Good understanding of User profile solution / AD GPO / UPM / WEM / NetScaler is preferred.
  • Datacenter / Remote System administration skills.
  • Certificate deployment and renewals.
  • Knowledge on ticketing tools like Service now, Jira etc.
  • Current CCA certification. CCP certification is a plus.
