About the Role

You will review and evaluate citations, references, and source-linked claims across academic, technical, and general-knowledge domains. The role requires verifying the accuracy of cited information, assessing whether evidence appropriately supports specific statements, and mapping relationships between claims, data, and source material. You will analyze complex arguments, trace evidence chains, identify unsupported assertions, and ensure rigorous alignment between content and its documented references.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and tag issues such as fabricated citations, incorrect references, outdated sources, or misquoted evidence.
• Map individual claims or reasoning steps to specific pieces of evidence from provided or referenced sources.
• Evaluate the quality, credibility, and appropriateness of sources used, including academic papers, reports, and authoritative publications.
• Assess whether evidence is interpreted correctly and without distortion or overreach.
• Compare and rank multiple AI-generated responses based on evidentiary grounding, citation accuracy, and completeness.
• Annotate gaps where claims lack sufficient evidence or require stronger sourcing.

Skills & Experience Required

• Experience in editing, academic research, fact-checking, or publishing
• Strong source-verification skills
• Ability to audit claims and evidence systematically
• strong at citation tracing and source auditing.
