PHP Developer Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust web applications, ensuring optimal performance, scalability and responsiveness.
- Work closely with front-end developers to seamlessly integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Troubleshoot, test and maintain core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality.
- Assist in the design and development of new features and applications, contributing ideas and innovative solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers and ensuring adherence to coding standards.
- Stay current with the latest industry trends, technologies and best practices to ensure continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
PHP Developer Requirements
- Strong expertise in PHP and experience in frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony or CodeIgniter.
- Basic to intermediate understanding of front-end technologies like JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3.
- Experience working with MySQL or other relational databases, including the ability to write complex queries and optimize database performance.
- Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git and experience with collaborative workflows.
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and web services, with the ability to integrate and consume them effectively.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts and design patterns.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
