Job Description

Role & Responsibilities:

Contract Drafting and Review

  • Draft, review, and revise contracts, agreements, policies, terms and conditions, and other legal documents to support business operations and compliance.

Legal Guidance

  • Provide legal guidance to cross-functional teams on document standards and ensure contracts align with corporate objectives and legal requirements.

Legal Research and Risk Mitigation

  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support contract negotiations, identifying and mitigating potential legal and business risks.

Contract Lifecycle Management

  • Manage contracts from drafting to execution, amendments, and renewals while ensuring adherence to internal processes and external regulations.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather relevant information for contract preparation and resolve discrepancies to maintain document accuracy.

Documentation and Record Management

  • Maintain legal records, contracts, and documentation in a central repository or contract management system in an organized and timely manner.

Due Diligence Support

  • Prepare and review legal documents for mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and other business transactions as part of due diligence processes.

External Counsel Coordination

  • Work with external legal counsel to resolve complex contract issues and manage outsourced legal tasks, ensuring alignment with internal guidelines.

Training and Guidance

  • Provide training and guidance to team members on contract management practices, legal policies, and risk mitigation strategies.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • Law graduate (LLB) with relevant experience in corporate contract management.
  • Strong understanding of legal documentation, contract standards, and corporate compliance.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working with contract management systems and maintaining legal records.
