Job Description

Circle Lead Rest of Maharashtra & Goa As Circle Lead, you will drive the performance and expansion of Lenskart's retail business across Maharashtra (excluding Mumbai) and Goa.

You will be responsible for leading a team of Area Managers, ensuring excellence in execution, driving profitable growth, and delivering the best-in-class customer experience across stores in your circle. This is a regional leadership role with P&L accountability and direct influence on customer satisfaction, team development, and retail excellence.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales, Revenue Growth

  • Own Circle with a clear focus on topline growth, store profitability, and unit economics.
  • Drive same-store sales, conversion, ticket size, and repeat through strong in-store execution.
  • Build and deliver aggressive growth plans for mature and new stores, including ramp-up and market share expansion.

2. Store Network Growth & Execution Excellence

  • Lead new store launches, relocations, and refurbishments, ensuring faster break-even and productivity.
  • Deliver 50%+ YoY growth through sharp micro-market planning and disciplined execution.
  • Ensure consistent SOP adherence across stores, with a strong focus on selling processes and store readiness.

3. In-Store Customer Experience & NPS Leadership

  • Own end-to-end in-store experience and consistently deliver best-in-class NPS.
  • Drive customer-first behaviour through regular store walks, audits, and real-time feedback loops.
  • Ensure high standards of service quality, grooming, hygiene, and selling etiquette across all stores.

4. Store Productivity, Inventory & Cost Control

  • Maximize revenue per store and per staff member through optimal staffing and scheduling.
  • Drive tight inventory discipline to reduce pilferage, returns, and stock ageing.
  • Manage store-level costs while protecting customer experience and frontline selling bandwidth.

5. Team Leadership, Capability & Performance Culture

  • Lead, coach, and develop Area Managers, Store Managers, and frontline teams.
  • Build a high-ownership, high-performance culture with clear goals, accountability, and incentives.
  • Invest in continuous capability building across sales skills, customer handling, and leadership depth.

6. Brand, Culture & Store Experience Standards

  • Act as a custodian of the Lenskart brand and culture on the ground.
  • Ensure every store reflects Lenskart's premium yet accessible positioning.
  • Champion agility, experimentation, and execution excellence across the circle.

7. Eye Test Quality & Selling Excellence

  • Ensure 100% compliance with eye testing accuracy and optical standards.
  • Partner with the Lenskart Academy to upskill optometrists and stylists on consultative selling and service excellence.
  • Elevate eye testing from a process to a trust-building, conversion-driving experience.
