Job Description

We're looking for a cinematographer who thinks like a brand builder, not just a camera operator. Someone who understands that lighting, framing, pacing, and editing aren't just technical skills, they shape perception, desire, and trust.

If you can shoot leather like it deserves to be shot, capture craftsmanship with emotion, and edit videos that make people stop scrolling, we want you.

Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize and execute brand-first video content (ads, product films, storytelling pieces, social media content).
  • Shoot high-quality visuals product close-ups, lifestyle shots, workshop processes, and campaign films.
  • Lead lighting and framing to create a premium, timeless aesthetic.
  • Edit videos with strong pacing, narrative flow, and attention to brand tone.
  • Create performance-driven ad creatives (Meta, YouTube, website).
  • Collaborate with marketing to translate strategy into compelling visual storytelling.
  • Repurpose long-form content into high-converting short-form formats.
  • Maintain consistency in brand look & feel across all video assets.

Requirements

  • 25 years of experience in cinematography and editing.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing product storytelling and brand work.
  • Proficiency in Premiere Pro / Final Cut / DaVinci Resolve.
  • Understanding of color grading for premium aesthetics.
  • Strong sense of lighting, texture, and detail (especially product-focused shoots).
  • Ability to think in hooks, retention, and conversions not just beautiful shots.
  • Deep understanding of Instagram, Meta ads, and digital-first storytelling.
  • Someone who understands brand positioning and visual identity.

Preferences

  • Have experience shooting leather, fashion, or D2C brands.
  • Understand performance marketing and ad testing.
  • Can storyboard and pre-visualize content.
  • Have basic motion graphics skills.
  • Obsess over details like sound design and micro-transitions.
