Role Purpose

The Controllership Process Transformation Lead will drive finance process excellence, governance frameworks, and transformation initiatives across controllership operations. The role will serve as a key enabler of process modernization, automation, and system-driven transformation across expense management, AP, AR, vendor governance, and related finance domains. This position is designed as a transformation-focused capability role and is not part of transactional operations execution.

Key Responsibilities

Controllership Transformation & Process Excellence

  • Lead finance process transformation initiatives across expense, AP, AR, vendor master, and related controllership workflows
  • Identify process improvement and automation opportunities across controllership functions and partner with technology teams for implementation
  • Coordinate UAT/BAT activities for finance system implementations and upgrades (SAP, Concur, Zycus, and related platforms)
  • Establish and maintain a centralized SOP, process governance, and controls repository across controllership processes
  • Track and drive execution of controllership transformation initiatives and process maturity improvements

Governance, Controls & Analytics

  • Design governance and compliance monitoring frameworks for key controllership processes, including expense and corporate card programs
  • Develop process performance dashboards, exception monitoring frameworks, and decision-support analytics for leadership
  • Support audit readiness initiatives by strengthening process documentation, control frameworks, and monitoring mechanisms
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to enhance policy adherence, operational transparency, and process efficiency

Cross-Functional Transformation Enablement

  • Support cross-functional finance transformation programs impacting controllership processes
  • Facilitate process redesign workshops and stakeholder alignment sessions to drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Provide structured transformation program tracking and reporting for controllership leadership

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in finance controllership, finance operations transformation, or finance process excellence roles
  • Strong exposure to ERP environments (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and finance system
  • Experience leading UAT/BAT coordination, process redesign, or transformation initiatives
  • Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and project execution skills
  • Experience with expense management platforms (e.g., SAP Concur) preferred
