Key Responsibilities Develop and customize Blue Planet Intelligent Automation workflows, resource adapters (RAs), and service models. Integrate Blue Planet with OSS/BSS, network elements, and external systems using REST APIs, YANG models, and XML/JSON interfaces. Build and maintain Network Function Virtualization (NFV) and SDNbased automation solutions. Design and implement automation for service orchestration, service assurance, and inventory management. Perform endtoend testing of Blue Planet service models and troubleshoot orchestration issues. Collaborate with network engineers, architects, and operations teams to gather requirements and translate them into automation workflows. Maintain documentation for service models, integration points, and workflows. Support deployments in lab, staging, and production environments. Required Skills & Experience Handson experience with Ciena Blue Planet (MCP, Designer, Orchestrator, Inventory). Strong development skills in Python, JavaScript, or Java. Understanding of YANG modeling, TOSCA, and network modeling concepts. Experience with REST APIs, JSON, XML, and microservices integration. Knowledge of IP/MPLS, Optical Networks, SONET/SDH, DWDM, or general telecom networking. Familiarity with Linux environments, CI/CD pipelines, and Git. Ability to troubleshoot complex network automation workflows. Additional Skills:
